Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis adds five new members to its Governing Board
St. Louis – September 11, 2019 – Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis, a nonprofit organization that empowers children in need to achieve their full academic potential, today announced the appointments of Andrea Barry, Kristin Morris, Jennifer Noakes, Brian Wellinghoff, and Mark Winker to its Board of Directors.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors of BHGH St Louis, I am excited to welcome Andrea, Kristin, Jennifer, Brian and Mark as the newest members of our Board,” said Jim Mather, Board President of Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis. “Each one has unique talent, passion for our mission and a heart for our scholars. We are extremely honored to have them join our BHGH family.”
Andrea Barry is a Partner at Deloitte. Barry has more than fifteen years of experience in delivering audit and advisory services with an emphasis on serving companies in the aerospace and defense, consumer products, and life science industries. Barry currently serves as a member of the Women’s Leadership Cabinet of United Way.
Kristin Morris is an Asset Manager at Savoy Properties, where she assists in the acquisition and disposition of all investments while leading the project, transaction and property management of the commercial portfolio. Morris specializes in finance and investor relations. She previously served as a member of the associate board at Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis.
Jennifer Noakes is a National Accounts Manager at PLZ Aeroscience. Noakes has more than a decade of operational and sales experience working with larger retail outlets to bring custom product-solutions to market. Noakes holds a BA in Marketing & Supply Chain Management from Western Illinois University, and a Master’s of Business Administration from Missouri Baptist University. She currently serves as the treasurer of the board of directors of Payback, Inc., and previously served as a member of the Associate Board at Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis.
Brian Wellinghoff is the Director of Strategy and Improvement at Barry-Wehmiller Companies. At BW, Wellinghoff is responsible for leading continuous improvement and strategy in addition to contributing to external initiatives through the organization’s Leadership Institute. His quick ascension in the organization led him to be selected as one of St. Louis’s 30 under 30, as he became one of the youngest corporate directors at BW at the time.
Mark Winker is the Senior Vice President and Commercial Team Lead at UMB Bank. He currently serves as a Committee Member of the Marlin Perkins Society, and as a Director of the St. Louis Sports Commission. Previously, he served as a director of Aim High St. Louis. Winker holds a MBA in Finance from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis.
