St. Louis, MO – Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis, a nonprofit organization that empowers children in need to achieve their full academic potential, announced the appointments of Mike Keller, Brandan Mueller and Brian Potter to its Board of Directors.

“We are fortunate to have our three newest Board members join us as we continue to strengthen the Boys Hope Girls Hope community in St. Louis. They bring a wealth of experience, expertise and compassion to our group and will be tremendous assets to the Board as we work to further our mission.”  Kurt Heumann, Board President.

Mike Keller retired in 2017 as Executive Director of Independence Center, a leading Clubhouse model program for adults living with serious mental illness. Keller has 35 years of experience at non-profit management and leadership and has served as an officer or board member for six cultural and social service organizations, and three private schools (including Chaminade College Prep and Community School).  He has a strong belief in the compelling mission of Boys Hope Girls Hope St. Louis.

Brandan Mueller is a partner at Husch Blackwell working in manufacturing litigation.  Mueller received recognition in February 2019 by St. Louis Lawyer as the Pro Bono Volunteer of the Month. He serves in leadership positions with both La Salle Middle School and Christian Brothers College High School. He is particularly active with La Salle Middle School, where he serves on the Governance Committee, assisting with administration, compliance, recruitment, and fundraising events. Mueller also volunteers with Marygrove on their golf tournament committee, Christian Brothers College alumni association, and school board.

Brian Potter is the VP of Sales for Promotional Concepts and has been extensively involved with Boys Hope Girls Hope St. Louis in the past as both a mentor and board member for 9 years.  He has a passion for helping create opportunities for children in the St. Louis community who both need and want them.
