At Hope Ignites St. Louis, we are proud to walk alongside young people as they pursue their goals with resilience, heart, and determination. Our graduating seniors—Enoch, Genessis, and Justyce—embody the spirit of perseverance and purpose. Each of them has worked tirelessly to grow academically, lead in their communities, and envision a future full of promise. As they take the next step in their journeys to Washington University, Loyola University Chicago, and St. Louis University, we celebrate all they’ve accomplished and all that lies ahead.

Enoch joined Hope Ignites in 2019 as an incoming 7th grader and is the third in his family to be part of our Residential Program. Graduating from De Smet Jesuit High School with a 4.26 GPA, he is headed to Washington University this fall with a full-ride scholarship, planning to major in engineering! Not only a dedicated student, but Enoch is also a kind young man and committed to service through his youth leadership role at church. As a Quest scholarship recipient, he traveled to Spain last summer and grew leadership skills. He serves as a true role model for the young men in our boys’ home.

Genessis joined our program as a freshman and has grown into a remarkable role model for both her peers at school and in our girls’ home. She excels in her dedication and focus and earned First Honor Roll for two years in a row at Rosati Kain Academy. She has become a student leader and active advocate for equity receiving the ECO-act award, and selected to be part of the Give Respect, Get Respect program. She will continue to impact the community when she attends Loyola University Chicago this fall and plans to study business.

Justyce joined us as a 6th grader and from the start has been hard working, kind, and dedicated to making her future bright. She has been an Honor Roll student at Rosati Kain Academy while working and being passionately involved in softball, choir, and cheer. She begins her college career next year at St. Louis University, with dreams of becoming a psychiatric nurse to help empower people in the field of mental health.
